About Ladyane Lima

Born and raised amidst Brazil's vibrant rhythms, I learned early on to navigate life's adversities with resilience and determination. Seeking opportunities beyond the horizon of my upbringing, I embarked on a journey to the United States to pursue a better life as a young adult.

Despite facing financial constraints as an international
student, I pursued my college education with unwavering tenacity. Upon
graduation, I leaped into the fast-paced world of Wall Street, carving out a
successful career with top investment banks over nearly a decade.

Alongside my professional pursuits, I embarked on a personal
journey of discovery, embracing Judaism and marrying a wonderful partner who
shares my faith. As the pandemic cast its shadow, I decided to take a
sabbatical, dedicating precious time to nurturing my growing family.

Today, I am blessed to be the mother of three beautiful
children, cherishing each moment as I guide them through life's adventures.
Amidst the joys and challenges of motherhood, I am also embarking on a new
chapter as an author, penning a book that shares the story of my journey – a
narrative of resilience, growth, and self-discovery.

Through my newly published book, The Waves We Ride, I aim to offer more than just words on a page; it's a roadmap for personal success and fulfillment, a testament to the power of embracing one's diverse identity and overcoming life's obstacles. I hope to inspire fellow women to embrace their unique experiences, find strength in their intersectionality, and chart their path toward fulfillment.
